The three student teams presented their deliverable to the start-up companies in Belfast and Derry today. The teams presented their projects today with presentations to the CEO’s and their team at the following companies:
- Siobhan Donaghy CEO of Modern Democracy in Derry.
- Ian Scott, CEO of Taggled in Belfast.
- Dan Loughlin, CEO of IRP Commerce in Belfast.
All the CEO’s operate with a great deal of grace, and one of them concluded:
We really got a lot out of the students being here – it was great culturally for us and the work was really impressive.
I was also able to visit Stormont this morning, and was given a private tour via Peter Hall, Clerk to the Committee for the Economy.
One more full-day in Belfast, and then we head back to Dublin on Sunday – where – coincidentally, The Boss, Bruce Springsteen will be playing for 80,000 fans at Croke Park!
