We arrived in Dublin a bit sleep deprived, but anxious for what lies ahead the next two weeks. We’re not the only ones with plans for Ireland this May. The Queen of England will be here this week disrupting traffic patterns, and President Obama will be here next week. The local papers had plenty of opinions about the Queen’s visit, and a hopeful upside sentiment is that it will help bring back tourism that has been down since 2007.
The students have their leaders selected for the team projects to be presented on June 15th in Denver, and include Webroot, The Portherhouse Brewing Company, Enterprise Ireland, and WhatClinic.ie.
Our plans tomorrow include meeting with Aoife McDermott and Patrick Flood – authors of “Leadership in Ireland.” We’ll also be meeting with Danuta Gray – former CEO of O2 Ireland, and Niall Saul, Executive Chairman, Symbio HR.
More to come!
